Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and certified Middle School Teacher in English Language Arts to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate is passionate about student achievement, skilled in differentiated instruction, and committed to fostering a positive and rigorous classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons
- Implement New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS)
- Use data to inform instruction and drive student growth
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
- Maintain a structured, positive classroom culture
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with staff and communicate with families
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred) Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification Strong classroom management skills Experience in diverse or urban settings preferred Commitment to equity and student success
