The Jersey City Global Charter School serves 433 students in grades K‑8 and is committed to providing a rigorous academic core curriculum aligned to the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and to fostering entrepreneurial, socially responsible, and innovative learning experiences.

We seek an innovative educational leader who ensures an excellent educational experience for every student. The successful applicant must have demonstrated exemplary educational leadership experience in a diverse school community with similar strengths, demographics, and challenges.

• A rigorous academic core curriculum aligned with NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards and core content standards.
• Instructional delivery that includes differentiated instruction, student empowerment, teaming, and learning centers supplemented with classroom‑based technology.
• Support entrepreneurial endeavors integrated into the curriculum.
• Provide learning opportunities that address the needs of real‑life situations.
• Support a high level of parental and community involvement.
• Integrate a web‑based student information system that allows parents to communicate with the school and track their child’s progress.
• Implement decentralization of services and shared decision‑making by all professionals within the school.

• Candidates must have or be immediately eligible for a New Jersey Principal, School Administrator Certificate, or Certificate of Eligibility.
• Demonstrated exemplary educational leadership experience in a diverse school community.

Range: $150,000 – $175,000 (subject to qualifications, experience, and negotiations).
