5 th Grade Long-Term Leave Replacement Teacher
Golden Door Charter School is looking for a knowledgeable and creative teacher able to teach, develop and remediate instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science and/or history in an 5th Grade elementary classroom setting. Individuals should possess strong knowledge in classroom management skills and pedagogy.
A New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) of Teacher of Elementary School K-6 is required.
Candidate must successfully complete required criminal history check/fingerprinting and have proof of eligibility to work in U.S.
This position is a long-term leave replacement for the school year from September through November with potential for permanent hire.
- Instruction will begin on 9/1/26 with the expectation to attend the New Hire Orientation and the Teacher Professional Development (PD) week which is scheduled on 8/24/26 through 8/28/26, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.
This position offers a daily rate of $230 with the expectation to create lesson plans and maintain the student gradebook.
This long-term leave replacement position is not eligible for benefits.
