Are you passionate about student development, leadership, and creating inclusive communities? The University of Vermont’s Department of University Housing & Dining Services (UHDS) is seeking a Residence Director to support a dynamic residential Learning Community and help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
As a live-on professional staff member, the Residence Director supervises Resident Advisors, builds community through restorative practices and student engagement, supports student success initiatives, and participates in an on-call rotation.

Minimum Qualifications (or Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience)- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years experience working in residential life
- (Preferred) Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs, Student Personnel, Counseling, Education, or Adult Education
Anticipated Pay Range $41,000-$42,000 (11-months) Other Information
Successful candidates will be subject to background check due to the live-in nature of this position. This is an 11-month position, July 1 – May 31.
