- Ten (10) plus years as a RF manufacturing engineer preferably
- Preferable sectors are high power amplifiers, cavity filters, racks and telecoms systems (Bi Directional Amplifiers)
- Other RF sectors will be considered
- Manufacturing engineering should be at the component and system level
- Must have a track record of process analysis, implementation and KPIs
- Must have a track record in scaling from prototype to high volume manufacture
- Must have either lead or had a significant contribution to implementing AS9100
- Must have big company experience and operating in a mid/small company of circa $ 20 million
- Electrical Engineer or RF Engineer
- Ability to read & interpret AutoCAD electrical, electronic layout and schematics, mechanical schematics, 3-D design tools, P&
- Experience with Mil Standards, CMM and able to interpret regulatory or customer needs
- Must understand CNC, assembly and RF test processes regarding efficiency and cost
- Problem Solving: uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; probes all fruitful sources for answers; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers
- Project Management: knows how to organize people and activities; can see opportunities for synergy and integration where others can't; coordinates the diverse components of projects by quality project planning, execution and change control to achieve the required balance of time, cost and quality; manages projects according to a standard process by using a systems development lifecycle; effectively directs and integrates all aspects of a project or program, ensuring that work progresses toward achieving goals and objectives.
Must be an expert user of MS Project or other professional project management tools. - Strong knowledge of LEAN processes and/or 6-Sigma to improve operation
- Expert knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc
- Must be able to write clear, succinct documentation and instructions using effective visualization and descriptions
