This is a full‑time, on‑site Automation Engineer position located in Jersey City, NJ. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency. Day‑to‑day tasks include troubleshooting automation systems, optimizing process controls, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate robotics, and contributing to the development of electrical engineering applications. Strong problem‑solving, technical expertise, and hands‑on experience in automation are vital for success in this role.
Qualifications- Expertise in troubleshooting and process control to diagnose and resolve technical issues and optimize automation processes.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering with experience in circuit design, maintenance and implementation of electrical systems.
- Strong skills in automation and robotics to design, develop, and implement automated systems and robotic technologies.
- Experience in programming and configuring control systems, such as PLCs or SCADA, is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial automation is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
