Civil - Structural

• Supervise structural analyses, design and detailing of infrastructure projects
• Direct the preparation of contract plans, specifications and estimates
• Visit project sites that may be under construction to collect information
• Write or assist in the writing of reports, specifications, and correspondence
• Review and respond to contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs.
• Interact with clients and contractors.
• Market the firm’s services
• Assist with preparing proposals

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering
• PE license in NJ, NY or PA or ability to obtain NY, NJ or PA PE within six months
• Fifteen to twenty years’ progressive experience in bridge/building design, evaluation and rehabilitation.
• Proficiency with MSWord and Excel
• Familiarity with Microstation or AutoCAD
• Familiarity with structural design and analysis software such as STAAD
