Job Duties & Responsibilities- Design, program, troubleshoot, and optimize Allen‑Bradley PLCs, Factory Talk HMI/SCADA, and automated control systems supporting high‑speed manufacturing operations.
- Lead engineering and automation projects from planning through implementation, including budgeting, commissioning, vendor coordination, and documentation.
- Partner with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging production data, SQL reporting, and system integration while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of plant engineering, automation, or manufacturing engineering experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience programming Allen‑Bradley PLCs using RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000 and supporting Rockwell Factory Talk HMI/SCADA systems.
- Proven project management skills with strong communication and the ability to collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
- Experience in food manufacturing, high‑speed packaging, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of SQL, Ignition SCADA, and Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
