Facade Engineer / Architect Opportunity (NYC)

Our client is seeking a Junior Facade Engineer or Architect to support building envelope and facade projects throughout the New York City area. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in facade inspections, restoration projects, FISP compliance, and building condition assessments while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

The role will involve assisting with field investigations, site inspections, report preparation, drawing production, and construction administration activities. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop technical expertise in facade restoration, waterproofing, building envelope systems, and NYC building regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture
• 1-5 years of experience in engineering, architecture, facade consulting, or building envelope projects
• Interest in facade restoration, forensic investigations, and building performance
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Assist with facade and building envelope inspections
• Support preparation of technical reports, drawings, and repair documents
• Perform field observations and document existing conditions
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors
• Assist senior staff with project delivery and code compliance reviews
