Job detailsWe are looking for a driven, full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1 Apprentice who has experience in small aircraft. The AME is responsible for conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on aircrafts and requires M1 knowledge to be successful. Opportunities in Parry Sound/Muskoka and Burlington.
Position OverviewThis position is a full-time, permanent position with working schedule of 40 hours per week with potential weekend scheduling. Overtime is available. Opportunities available in Parry Sound/Muskoka and Burlington.
Primary Responsibilities- Conducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures
- Perform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines and components
- Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, etc.
- Maintaining an organized, clean and safe hangar environment
- Experienced AME Apprentice
- Experience working on general aviation M1 aircraft and systems
- Available to work weekends
- Computer proficiency
- Knowledge in CARs regulations
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
