UX Designer

User experience is a strategic part of our business and product decisions. Our designers take part in strategic planning, lead their own projects, and have the opportunity to shape their own path. We aim for Caesars Sports book and Casino to be the easiest and most exciting place to wager. We are looking for a candidate who likes to be challenged and has the experience to solve complex problems while making beautiful and easy-to-use applications.

You will be part of a growing and successful design team working in unity to create seamless journeys. You will also work with stakeholders product managers and developers in our agile process to execute high-impact projects.

Caesars Entertainment operates over 50 land-based casinos and multiple mobile sports betting and casino applications. Marking a major milestone in American sports history, we opened the first-ever sports betting venue within a professional United States sports facility, the Caesars Sports book at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. Partnerships like this are positioning our business to skyrocket as sports betting continues to expand across the country and our customers get a taste of the action.

On the Technology side, we’ve built an entire sports betting and iGaming platform from the ground up in less than 3 years. Through continuous improvement and data-informed product development, we are adding features so that our customers have the best product experience in the market. Our Product Technology team comprises the brightest minds in Tech, and our culture of autonomy and decisiveness gives the team the freedom to deliver without constantly seeking permission to take action.

This role will be hybrid, in the Jersey City office 3 times per week.

What you will do:

• UX Design - You will collaborate with other like-minded designers. Work with user researchers product managers, and engineers to solve problems and design user experiences for our customers.
• UI Design - Craft beautiful designs and collaborate with our design system team to create and maintain an evolving shareable pattern library.
• Data Led - Use data and research to drive design decisions and measure their success.
• Prototyping - Be able to communicate your idea to stakeholders and customers
• User Testing - Have experience testing with customers using third party software.
• Communication - Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Deliver quality - Work with development and product to ensure quality designs are delivered to production.
• Iteration - Work closely with research and product to measure the performance of delivered solutions and iterate if necessary

What You Will Need:

• 4+ years working in user experience delivering mobile-first applications
• Understanding of iOS native and web applications
• Experience using user-testing applications
• A passion for sports and casino
• Strong user experience process
• Actively seek and provide direct constructive feedback
• Be able to lead projects without support
• Very collaborative
• Experience working within agile team environments
• Highly motivated and work autonomously
• Inspire your teams and designers to be customer first.
• Capable of running design workshops with designers, engineers and product.
