Financial Controller

Our client is an investment management firm that is expanding its private real estate business. They are searching for a candidate who will lead the accounting, reporting, and operational finance function for this platform, specific to real estate.

• Full ownership of accounting and financial reporting across projects and entities.
• Monthly and quarterly close cycles, including financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis
• Design and implementation of accounting policies, frameworks, and controls specific to residential development and sales
• Oversight of job costing, construction draws, vendor payments, cost tracking, contingencies, and lender reporting
• Cash‑flow forecasting, capital calls, cash management, and sources/uses planning
• Budgeting, forecasting, and buildout of KPI dashboards and performance metrics

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred.
• 8-15 years of experience within private real estate, private equity, investment management, or real estate fund accounting
• MUST HAVE - experience with Build-to-Sell (BTS) and Acquire-Renovate-Sell (ARS) strategies
