Tax Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Tax Systems Analyst located in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:

* Partner with IT and Tax teams to support current and upcoming tax-related initiatives

* Configure and maintain tax reports, tax assist rules, tax drivers, and tax categories within Vertex systems

* Set up and manage taxpayers and legal entities in both Vertex systems and Oracle ERP

* Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for tax-related issues across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Procurement

* Collaborate effectively with Finance, Tax, and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate tax system functionality

* Communicate technical and functional tax system concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users

* Support additional tax system responsibilities as business needs evolve

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

* 2+ years of experience working with tax systems

Hands-on experience with Vertex applications, including:

* Vertex O-Series

* Vertex VAT Compliance

* Vertex Indirect Tax Returns

* Oracle ERP Tax

* Vertex Accelerator for Oracle ERP

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
