Overview

Location Designation:
Hybrid - 3 days per week

Role Overview:
The Stable Value Analyst will provide analytical support to the Stable Value Investments team. This role is intended for candidates with limited professional experience but who are highly motivated and have demonstrated foundational skills in financial analysis, data management, or technology tools. It offers strong growth potential through hands-on exposure to the defined contribution marketplace and fixed income investment operations.

This position will require a mix of guided task execution and independent work on moderately complex assignments, under the direction of senior team members. Analysts in this role will begin to build subject matter knowledge and take initiative on defined tasks.

What You ll Do
  • Assist with periodic crediting rate resets, valuation reconciliations, and other recurring business processes
  • Support the preparation of reports for internal stakeholders and audits
  • Conduct data analysis and contribute to process improvements through automation (e.g., scripting, macros)
  • Assist in tracking investment manager performance and maintaining internal monitoring tools
  • Interpret basic contract language to identify key risk or compliance elements
  • Participate in training sessions and gradually develop subject matter knowledge in Stable Value and fixed income investments
What You ll Bring
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1+ years of internship or work experience in technology, financial services, insurance, or data-related roles
  • Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g., Excel VBA, Python, or R)
  • Working knowledge of data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL); experience with automation is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and take ownership of assigned tasks
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar
  • Familiarity with investment concepts, fixed income products, or retirement plans
  • Interest in pursuing CFA designation or relevant professional certification
