  • Maintain accurate and timely accounting records across all company departments.
  • Lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring accurate, timely execution of all financial functions.
  • Establish and maintain strong policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Partnership and Collaboration with HR Department as applicable for Payroll, Compensation and Commission Management.
Audit & External Partner Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the company’s external CPA firm and internal auditors.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and support the audit process from planning through completion.
Policy & Process Development

  • Ensure all accounting practices align with GAAP and industry best practices.
  • Prepare timely, accurate consolidated financial reports to assess company performance.
  • Conduct ongoing variance, balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow analyses.
  • Provide recommendations based on financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) schedules.
  • Support special projects as assigned, including system enhancements, cost initiatives, and operational integrations.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of finance or accounting experience, ideally within a professional services, construction, mechanical, HVAC, or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA preferred but not required.

  • Working knowledge of 401(k) ERISA regulated retirement plans.
  • Ability to manage AP/AR aging, cash flow analysis, and department‑level financial performance.
  • Experience preparing WIP schedules and supporting project‑based financial reviews.
  • Familiarity with Union Collective Bargaining Agreements is strongly preferred.
  • Strong follow‑up, follow‑through, and organizational skills.
Why Join Us?
