We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Governance, Process and Controls Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in engaging with senior stakeholders, articulating the multi-year Technology Investment narrative, and supporting Digital & Platform Services Objectives and Key Results.
As a Technology Investment Governance and Program Management – Senior Associate in the Digital & Platform Services team, you will utilize strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, an advanced understanding of financial analysis, controls and governance processes, as well as problem-solving skills and the ability to address ad‑hoc queries effectively.
Job responsibilities- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Digital & Platform Services CFO, Business Managers, Financial Managers, and Product Managers to ensure alignment and transparency in Digital & Platform Services Technology Investment governance.
- Articulate the multi‑year tech investment narrative, providing supporting details to facilitate informed decision‑making.
- Contribute to the achievement of Digital & Platform Services Objectives and Key Results by aligning Investment Governance activities with strategic goals.
- Work closely with Planning & Analysis teams to ensure that Technology Investment Governance aligns with Planning & Analysis control numbers, maintaining accuracy and consistency. Perform financial analysis as and when required.
- Serve as the point of contact for key processes such as Benefits review, Hygiene issues, Monthly Estimate Forecast, and timesheet status, supporting Investor Day, Mid‑Year Forecast, and Annual Planning.
- Learn and guide users on Digital & Platform Services processes using in‑house tools.
- Address any ad‑hoc queries from senior stakeholders in coordination with Line of Business Financial & Business Managers.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 4 years of professional experience in handling large volume of data.
- Proven experience in Technology Investment Governance or a related field.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to articulate complex investment narratives clearly and concisely.
- Experience with financial controls and alignment processes.
- Proficiency in using reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., databricks, tableau, Qliksense).
- Advanced problem‑solving skills and the ability to address ad‑hoc queries effectively.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint in particular).
- Detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Self‑starter who is motivated to excel in all aspects of their role and seeks to break the status quo and initiate improvements where necessary.
- Previous experience in a Technology finance/planning role in banking or financial services preferred.
- Experience with data transformation tools such as Alteryx, Databricks–SQL, dashboards, Tableau, Sigma highly preferred.
