We are currently seeking to hire an Income Processing Specialist based out of our Jersey City office. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of income (i.e. dividends, interest, principal) received from various sources for our clients and the associated tax reporting functions.
Responsibilities- Process dividends, interest, principal, and maturity proceeds
- Process broker claims and charges from different entities
- Perform tax reporting functions, foreign withholding processing, optional dividend processing and related cost basis adjustments
- Submit elections to DTCC
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Publish UIT rollover announcements and processes instructions
- Monitor assigned dividend suspense accounts
Assist with processing proxy statements - Perform other duties as required and assigned
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Sun Gard Phase 3, BETA, DTC PBS/PTS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize daily workflow
- Ability to be resourceful and work independently while keeping focus on the group’s strategic initiatives

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on performance outcomes. The ultimate compensation decision is made on a case‑by‑case basis and is dependent on a variety of factors including location, skill set, experience, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
