Location:
Jersey City, NJ
- Provides client service and support to internal and external clients daily, including phone interaction, problem resolution, transaction processing, reconciliations and accounting services.
- Regularly updates client accounts in a timely manner.
- Supports clients in addressing moderately complex operational and technical issues and ensuring requests are executed.
- Demonstrates the ability and willingness to learn about our clients and our products.
- Monitors client inquiries, resolves non‑routine issues and escalates complex issues as needed.
- Participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience.
- Utilizes problem‑solving skills and best judgement to analyze information, and to provide our clients with information related to BNY products.
- High school or secondary school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 5–7 years of total work experience preferred.
- Comfortable speaking directly with clients.
- Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
- Rotating schedule: first month 11 am – 8 pm, then 7 am – 4 pm and 9 am – 6 pm.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at‑will and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, company or departmental performance, and market factors.
