Vice President Quantitative Risk, RBC Capital Markets LLC, Jersey City, NJ:

Building statistical and machine learning models in the space of U.S. credit and municipal bond market. Developing quantitative risk metrics. Validating and monitoring model results. Automating trading and sales process. Building trading tools. Conducting backtesting and performance analysis of trading strategies. Collaborating with traders and sales teams to optimize pricing models. Maintaining and enhancing existing quantitative research infrastructure.

Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $ per year.

Must have a Master's degree in Statistics, Maths, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of related work experience.

• Developing and validating pricing models for spread products and fixed income securities.
• Machine learning modeling in U.S. credit and municipal bond markets.
• Python and SQL for developing statistical and machine learning models.
• Quantitative desk support in fast-paced trading environments.

• Statistical analysis and econometric modeling, specifically in time series analysis and market analysis.
• Bloomberg Terminal or equivalent market data platforms.
• Data visualization tools (Tableau, Streamlit, and Grafana).

The base salary for this job is $ per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
