Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our wealth management operations, including trading, research projects, and investment planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong analytical background and a passion for financial markets.
Key Responsibilities- Trading:
- Assist in the execution of trades across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Monitor market trends and provide timely insights to the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal trading policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all trading activities and generate relevant reports.
- Research Projects:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations for internal and external account holders.
- Collaborate with senior advisors to develop investment strategies.
- Utilize financial models and databases to support research initiatives.
- Investment Planning:
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized investment plans for clients.
- Analyze clients’ financial situations, including income, expenses, and investments.
- Provide recommendations on asset allocation, retirement planning, tax strategies, and risk management.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for client meetings.
- Client Support:
- Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional service in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and review materials.
- Maintain up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a financial services or wealth management role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and use of analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, Fact Set).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial services industry.
- Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) examinations or must be obtained within 6 months from hire date.
- CFA or CFP designation (or working towards) is preferred.
