We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager
- Capital Markets & Credit Risk to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey or Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic and regulatory initiatives across Capital Markets and Credit Risk domains. This role manages end-to-end project delivery, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures successful implementation of business, regulatory, risk, and technology transformation programs. The individual will partner with Front Office, Risk Management, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to deliver complex programs within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale Capital Markets and Credit Risk initiatives from initiation through implementation.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Drive Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Monitor project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and implement mitigation plans.
- Provide regular project status reporting to senior leadership and steering committees.
Capital Markets Domain Responsibilities
- Manage projects involving:
- Fixed Income
- Equities
- FX and Derivatives
- Liquidity and Treasury Management
- Trade Lifecycle Management
- Regulatory Reporting
- Market Risk Initiatives
- Coordinate business and technology stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.
Credit Risk Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives related to:
- Counter party Credit Risk
- Wholesale and Commercial Credit Risk
- Credit Exposure Calculations
- Credit Data Management
- Risk Analytics and Reporting
- Stress Testing
- Basel III/IV, CCAR, CECL, IFRS 9, FRTB and other regulatory programs
- Work closely with Risk, Finance, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and executive steering meetings.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions to senior management.
Governance & Reporting
- Establish project governance frameworks and reporting processes.
- Prepare executive dashboards, RAID logs, and program updates.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards and regulatory controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of project/program management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets and Credit Risk domains.
- Proven experience delivering regulatory and transformation programs within investment banking or financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of financial products, trading operations, and risk management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or Prince2 certification.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field.

Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.
-based positions. The starting pay range for this role will depend on the location of the successful candidate.
For candidates in Jersey City, the starting pay range is $140,000-$190,000. For candidates in Charlotte, NC, the starting pay range is $117,000-$160,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
