Commercial Credit Analyst – Middle Market

• Conduct in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers
• Perform basic financial analysis of less complex loans, industries, and Customers
• Research industry-specific information from outside sources
• Participate in Customer meetings and make direct inquiries for specific Customer information
• Support the loan origination process through underwriting analysis of Borrower character, creditworthiness, and financial condition
• Provide analytical support to the lending function
• Prepare approval memorandums for presentation to lending and credit authorities
• Analyze financial statements, management profiles, business and product cycles, cash flow ability, collateral, and agings to assess credit risk
• Maintain credit files and monitor updated financial statements
• Prepare updated analysis memoranda
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identify deviations from Company Commercial Loan Policy and become familiar with alternative structures to reduce credit risk
• Achieve operational performance standards in quality and timeliness

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years related experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Developed PC skills, including proficiency and capability in word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of credit and Customer information
• Good interpersonal skills and team orientation

Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and compliance monitoring, with strong analytical and research capabilities. Proficient in preparing detailed financial reports and approval memorandums while maintaining confidentiality and meeting operational performance standards.
