The Sec & Derivative Intmd Assoc Analyst is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations
- Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

- Perform Exchange Close Outs
- Process Option Expiration
- Break Resolution
- Reconciliation of physical products
- Friday expiry processing
- Identify policy gaps and enhance the streamlining of flows & processes
- Resolve settlement related issues and escalates as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
- Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
- Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the Firm
- Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management
- Support implementation of securities processing improvements
- Review and analyze derivative trade activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing.
- Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment.
- Futures trade processing and clearing
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Covering 11:00 – 20:00 with later working on Friday expiry
- Hybrid role with office attendance expected 3 days/week
