Pay Transparency:
The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Therapeutic Technician will work with adult consumers residing in a 15 bed community based residence who are diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. The candidate will support consumers in their wellness and recovery towards independent living.

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health field or High School Certificate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a helping profession,
• Valid NJ Driver's License required with no restrictions,

Preferred:

• CPR/First/AED preferred - will be provided if certificate is not active,
• Bilingual skills appreciated

• Flex Schedule
• Coverage for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

• Support provided includes medication supervision, skill building, community integration, identifying a crisis, and applying appropriate interventions
  -in-depth training provided on site.
• Therapeutic technician will support other team members in providing a clean and therapeutic environment.
• The mission of the department is to assist consumers in their recovery and keep them stable in the community and aid in the transition to a less supervised level of housing supervision.
• Candidates will need to be patient and possess strong motivational skills to support the consumers in their individualized goals.
