We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Analyst to guide our technology team in building a cutting-edge PnL, IP Valuation, Reconciliation, and Exception Adjustment tool.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial products, valuation methodologies, and basic accounting standards, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design, develop, and implement PnL, IPV, Recon, and Exception Adjustment tools.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Guide development teams in understanding complex financial concepts for accurate implementation.
  • Conduct analysis and validation of financial data to ensure tool reliability and accuracy.
  • Provide insights on valuation methodologies and accounting standards to enhance tool effectiveness.
  • Lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements and align on project goals.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or exceptions in financial data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve tool capabilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Must work onsite at client location in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ at least 3 days/week.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a techno-functional role within financial services.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with financial products (derivatives, equities, fixed income, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with valuation methodologies and basic accounting standards.
  • Proven experience guiding technology teams in developing financial tools or systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar analytical applications.
