Informatica Developer
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with at least 10 years of expertise in ETL development and data warehousing.
Responsibilities- Gather business requirements and create ETL mapping documents.
- Design, develop, and implement Informatica Power Center mappings, workflows, and metadata for data warehouses and marts.
- Develop stored procedures, views, and complex SQL queries on SQL Server and Oracle.
- Monitor Informatica sessions, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning of mappings and sessions.
- Participate in all phases of data warehouse development: requirements gathering, design, coding, unit testing, and documentation.
- Integrate various data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, flat files) into staging, ODS, data warehouse, and data mart environments.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams and support production.
- Support BI solutions using OLAP and enterprise analytics tools.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience as an ETL Informatica Analyst.
- Proficiency with Informatica Power Center (10.x/9.5/8.6, Hot Fix
2) and related client/server tools. - Extensive experience in ETL processes for Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Strong SQL development skills in PL/SQL and T‑SQL.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts: OLTP, OLAP, ODS, data mart, and model design.
- Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and issue resolution for Informatica environments.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multi‑team projects across geographies.
