Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Overview:
The Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations by automating and streamlining processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring reliable and secure system deployments. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the efficiency and scalability of our IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Implementation: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and manage containerization solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to streamline operations and improve deployment efficiency.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures for stability and security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software solutions.
- Security Compliance: Implement best practices for system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize system performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops or a similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or similar.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
