Technical Skills
* Deep expertise in Azure data services (Databricks, ADLS, ADF, Event Hub/Service Bus).
* Strong architectural background in Hadoop/Cloudera ecosystems (HDFS, Spark, Hive/Impala, Ranger/Sentry).
* Hybrid connectivity design including Express Route/VPN, networking, and security hardening.
* Experience with identity, RBAC, secrets/keys, and Zero-Trust principles.
* Knowledge of data governance frameworks (Purview), DQ, lineage, schema evolution.
* Skilled in designing scalable and distributed batch/streaming architectures.
* Fin Ops practices for compute/storage cost optimization.
* Ability to create reference architectures, standards, and blueprint documentation.
Functional Skills
* Ability to mentor engineering teams and lead design reviews.
* Strong collaboration skills with PMs, compliance, business, and engineering stakeholders.
* Ability to define roadmaps, migration strategies, and hybrid modernization blueprints.
* Strong communication and presentation skills for leadership alignment.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Define and own the end-to-end architecture of hybrid big-data platforms.
* Establish security models, integration patterns, and governance standards.
* Review engineering designs and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
* Collaborate with PMs and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet regulatory and business goals.
* Drive modernization strategy, migration planning, and stepwise platform evolution.
* Oversee performance, reliability, DR strategy, and cost-optimized cloud adoption.
