Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Cloud Migration Architect (AWS & Hybrid Cloud) position for our client.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 10 months
ResponsibilitiesLead design and delivery of cloud migration solutions for AWS and multi-cloud environments (Azure, ICP).
Architect migration solutions for hybrid cloud platforms (on-prem, off-prem, dedicated cloud).
Define migration strategy, select tools, and design migration pathways for applications, databases, and integrations.
Implement migration methods: rehost, refactor, rearchitect, replatform, containerization.
Serve as SME in migration methodologies, conduct workshops, and tailor methods to client environment/industry.
Advise project managers on technical WBS elements, estimations, migration risks, dependencies, and MVP planning.
Map client platforms and applications to AWS-specific services and configurations.

Proven experience leading AWS and hybrid cloud migration projects
Strong knowledge of AWS platform services and deployment best practices
Hands-on experience with migration strategy, tool selection, and technical delivery
Ability to lead teams and provide guidance to project managers and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $118,000 to $127,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
