Support Analyst – Office of Information Technology Services
Hours:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
In response to work orders, the Support Analyst provides first‑level field technical support, including problem analysis and resolution, general technical assistance, and training to computer systems users at multiple campus locations. The analyst interacts with employees, management, students, and vendors, delivers telephone, face‑to‑face, and online support for computer hardware and software, follows installation and troubleshooting guidelines, and ensures compliance with security policies.
Responsibilities- Maintain and update inventory of hardware and software.
- Record and update ticket request logs, documenting user requests, work performed, and resolution.
- Perform related technical support activities as required.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to work schedules and assignments.
- Minimum of a high school diploma required; associate degree with two years of related technical experience preferred. Technical certifications are also preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population and to effectively and respectfully communicate in diverse contexts.
- Experience with Windows 10/11.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
- Experience with computer hardware and printers.
- Experience with audio/visual systems and collaboration software (Webex, Zoom, Teams, etc.).
- Experience with Apple Macintosh.
- Experience with mobile technologies (smartphones, tablets, Chromebooks, etc.).
- Desire to maintain ongoing awareness of technology trends.
