Senior Manager, Analytical AI Forecasting and Predictive Solutions
This role is responsible for leveraging technical expertise to develop and deploy cutting‑edge data science and machine learning solutions across all Forecasting applications, with a focus primarily on Commercial Demand. The position plays a crucial role in transforming our enterprise forecasting capabilities, shaping strategies, and implementing advanced methodologies, processes, and technologies that accelerate insight generation and enhance decision‑making and planning across the organization.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the Analytical AI Community by collaborating with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and forecasting SMEs to promote forecasting as a strategic business tool.
- Build, implement, maintain, and analyze advanced forecasting models using statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques.
- Lead large‑scale data analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform forecasting model development.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—finance, marketing, operations—to translate business needs into data‑driven forecasting solutions.
- Continuously monitor and improve model accuracy and performance, designing experiments to validate assumptions and enhance forecast precision.
- Document models, processes, and procedures, ensuring clarity for stakeholders and future team members.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts within the team.
- Pursue continuous innovation by staying current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and forecasting methodologies, and deploying next‑generation capabilities.
- Implement best practices in forecasting, data science, and machine learning in partnership with stakeholders.
- Engage with Finance, Commercial, Market Access, and Analytics teams to present forecasting results and discuss their impact.
- Contribute to the performance and impact assessments of newly deployed forecasting capabilities.
- BA/BS required (quantitative area preferred); MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in advanced analytics and data science.
- Experience with pharmaceutical forecasting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, Tableau, and MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Git and cloud‑based environments (AWS, Azure, or similar). Commercial forecasting knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to explain complex analyses to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate large, complex projects with multi‑functional teams.
Location:
Princeton, NJ – US
Salary Range: $152,150 – $184,370 (annual, base). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final compensation will consider experience and qualifications.
