Director; Data Support Manager

Responsibilities

• Consult with data stewards, process owners, subject matter experts, technical experts, end users, and other stakeholders to gather information about current and target state business processes, data attributes and data sources, control features, and interfaces with other systems required.
• Document and provide definitions for processes and procedures, data models, data quality controls, data lineage, and data dictionaries using industry‑standard methods including business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, diagrams, flowcharts, and more.
• Analyze information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, segment high‑level information into details, and abstract from low‑level information to a general understanding.
• Assess and identify deficiencies against internal policies and standards or industry best practices and provide formal recommendations and requirements to remediate.
• Collaborate and partner with technology teams, architects, and other key stakeholders to drive solutions that provide ongoing operational excellence and resiliency to metadata and control environment challenges.
• Review and provide input to technical solution designs from a business point of view and recommend alternatives.
• Communicate plans, progress, and risks appropriately to stakeholders and sponsors.
• Assess data, processes, and technology to support strategic data initiatives, remediate deficiencies, and drive business requirements.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert in building deep knowledge of data domains, supporting systems, data governance, and financial services risk management concepts.
• Drive quality and consistency by developing standardized templates, tools, and design practices to promote high‑quality deliverables and consistent practices across GRM lines of business.
• Conceptualize solutions and employ a structured framework to evaluate features to drive definitive and strategic product decisions.

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related.
• 3 years of experience in the role or related IT occupation.
• 3 years of experience in each of the following areas:
  • Conducting data profiling analysis, identifying opportunities for improvements and re‑engineering data flows.
  • Specifying requirements for data quality controls to improve the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of data.
  • Programming in SQL and Python to load data, perform data analysis and execute data quality rules, using tools including Toad, Collibra DQ, Trino and PyCharm.
  • Designing and implementing data quality controls in Collibra DQ.
  • Designing ETL processes to extract data from diverse platforms including Oracle, Hadoop, Spark, and Trino.

Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America). Hours Per Week: 40. Pay range:
Annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
