Automation Test Engineer (Robotic Process Automation)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking an Automation Test Engineer (Robotic Process Automation) NJ NC to join their team. As an Automation Test Engineer (Robotic Process Automation) NJ NC, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the Automation and Testing Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks supporting a diverse application ecosystem.
• Evaluate low-code/no-code and AI-assisted automation platforms to accelerate testing processes and improve adaptability.
• Implement automation solutions for software release certification, post-upgrade validation, and system readiness across multiple applications.
• Define and execute risk-based test coverage strategies, transitioning from manual to automation-first validation models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation tools into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous testing and validation.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Rest-Assured, Cucumber, Postman, or equivalent.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and/or Type Script, with the ability to develop robust automation test suites.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Proven ability to define and implement risk-based test coverage strategies, spanning both manual and automated testing.
