We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Specialist to support the implementation of a highly custom Stock Administration module (currently in People Soft HR) in Oracle HCM. This role requires a unique blend of both technical expertise and functional understanding of Payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience in Oracle HCM Cloud and will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to deliver and support a high-quality solution in the Oracle HCM environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle HCM solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis between business processes and system functionality and provide recommendations.
Technical Expertise
  • Perform technical activities including system configuration, data migration, report development, and customizations as needed.
  • Develop custom pages in Visual Builder Studio to enhance the Redwood experience.
  • Develop and support integrations between Oracle HCM and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, HDL, OIC, Oracle SQL database, and other similar technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle HCM modules, ensuring system performance and stability.
  • Build custom reports, dashboards, and workflows using tools such as BI Publisher and OIC.
Implementation & Project Support
  • Participate in Oracle HCM implementation of custom Stock Administration processes (currently implemented in People Soft HR), providing both functional and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Lead or support data migration efforts during implementation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system enhancements.
Documentation & Training
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes within Oracle HCM.
  • Train end users and HR teams on system functionality, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
  • Maintain system documentation, ensuring updates are made as changes are implemented.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working in Oracle HCM, with a strong understanding of both technical and functional aspects. Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules such as Core HR and Payroll. Prior experience in implementing or supporting Oracle HCM solutions, including development of custom solutions involving data screens and integrations.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Oracle SQL, HCM Data Loader (HDL), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Redwood, Visual Builder/Visual Builder Studio (VB/VBS), and BI Publisher. Experience with APIs, web services, and integration tools for data exchange between Oracle HCM and external systems such as Oracle databases.
  • Functional

    Skills:

    Strong understanding of HR processes and policies, including payroll. Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Certifications: Oracle HCM Cloud certification preferred.
  • Other

    Skills:

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation or upgrades.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools.
