10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of the Enterprise Capital Management Technology (ECMT) team, which supports the Capital Management function within Corporate Treasury. The team is engaged in a technology transformation, building new capabilities for data ingestion, rules authoring, execution, and analytics. This is a greenfield project to design and replace multiple legacy applications and will support critical regulatory programs such as Basel IV and FRTB.

• 10+ years of experience with at least 3+ years as a Business Analyst/Functional Analyst
• Experience in a delivery-focused techno-functional role
• Good knowledge of SQL programming, preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata
• Programming experience with Python or Java/.Net
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets with a focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations
• Understanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (e.g., Basel, CRR, CRD IV)
• Attention to detail and a self-starter, with an ability to identify risks and issues and suggest improvements

• Ability to read and understand Python code and run reports in Micro Strategy
• Knowledge of Big Data Architectures and Cloud computing
• Knowledge of machine-learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods
• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
