Roles and Responsibilities Migration Assessment & Planning
- Perform Jenkins environment discovery, including pipelines, Jenkinsfiles, shared libraries, credentials, agents, plugins, and dependencies.
- Assess migration readiness and classify pipelines based on complexity.
- Build migration wave plans and remediation roadmaps.
- Configure and validate cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, access controls, delegates/runners, and enterprise integrations.
- Implement integrations with SCM tools, artifact repositories, cloud platforms, Kubernetes environments, and secrets management solutions.
- Develop operational runbooks and support procedures.
- Lead migration of Jenkins pipelines to target CI/CD platforms.
- Develop and enforce reusable pipeline templates and standardized deployment patterns.
- Convert legacy pipeline constructs into scalable and maintainable CI/CD frameworks.
- Integrate build, test, security scan, deployment, and notification workflows.
- Resolve unsupported plugins, scripts, and custom implementations.
- Execute validation testing, parallel runs, and parity checks.
- Produce migration evidence and validation documentation.
- Support production cutovers and transition activities.
- Monitor and stabilize migrated pipelines.
- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues and optimize performance.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve migration templates and processes.
- Support phased retirement of legacy CI/CD infrastructure.
- Archive required build history and audit evidence.
- Assist with credential cleanup, access reviews, and infrastructure decommissioning.
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud and Dev Ops architecture.
- Expertise in Jenkins administration, pipeline development, and migration.
- Experience with modern CI/CD platforms such as Harness, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation).
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD automation, Dev Sec Ops , and secrets management.
- Experience integrating SCM, artifact repositories, container registries, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, Groovy, or Power Shell.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- AWS certification preferred.
- Experience with large‑scale CI/CD transformation and migration programs.
