DataAnalyst – Data & Analytics
Join Everest’s Data & Analytics team as a Data Analyst, where you will play a key role in advancing the firm’s enterprise data strategy.
This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, combining hands‑on data analysis, data solutioning, data delivery, and stakeholder engagement to enable high‑quality reporting and analytics across the organization.
What You’ll Do- Partner with technology teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions that provide high‑quality, reliable data for business use
- Drive adoption and business value from data, analytics, and BI solutions across functions
- Translate business needs into clear data and technology requirements
- Collaborate across business units to standardize and optimize enterprise data assets
- Support data governance and data quality initiatives in close partnership with Technology
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for business data inquiries
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis by extracting, transforming, and modeling data from multiple sources
- Validate and sign off on data deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards
- Contribute to Agile delivery of data initiatives in partnership with Technology teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role
- Strong understanding of core data concepts, including:
- Data modeling (dimensional modeling)
- ETL processes
- Data warehousing
- Data governance frameworks
- Structured and unstructured data
- Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and business glossaries
- Advanced SQL skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across business and technology stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data concepts into business‑friendly insights
- Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services
- Exposure to modern data platforms and cloud‑based analytics environments
- Experience supporting data governance initiatives
The base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $125,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
