Senior Manager, Data Science Purpose

Shape and deliver product strategy, roadmap, and execution governance for SSOT, J&J PHENIX, and associated commercial data science/analytics platforms.

• Define and own product vision, strategy, and measurable business outcomes; translate priorities into roadmap/backlog/release/adoption plans.
• Align stakeholders and convert business requirements into analytics use cases, acceptance criteria, and adoption plans.
• Ensure platforms deliver timely, scalable, governed, reproducible insights; oversee data pipelines, automation, feature engineering, frameworks, dashboards, and reusable data products.
• Drive AI/ML‑enabled insights (including conversational analytics) and enable J&J Agentic Framework adoption with guardrails and responsible deployment.
• Govern the end‑to‑end analytics/data ecosystem (ingestion to consumption across Databricks, Snowflake, AWS S3/Redshift, Power BI), including quality, lineage, privacy, access controls, and security.
• Lead agile delivery, QC/testing, risk management, and cross‑functional coordination.

• Master’s degree (advanced degree preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8–12+ years in product management and/or data platforms/analytics delivery/commercial insights/enterprise data science.
• Proven ownership of complex analytics product strategy/roadmaps and value realization.
• Hands‑on familiarity with modern data/analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Redshift, S3, Power BI, cloud services).
• Strong understanding of commercial pharma analytics, RWD/RWE, healthcare data, portfolio performance, launch excellence, and KPI decision support.
• Experience enabling AI/ML/coplanilot/conversational/agentic AI in governed enterprise frameworks (responsible AI, privacy/HIPAA, security/compliance).

• Experience working in healthcare.
