Job Title: Data Analyst / Modeler
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)

Salary: $120k (Fulltime Role)

We are seeking a Data Analyst/Modeler with a robust background in large‑scale data processing and a solid grasp of financial products, especially derivatives. The role emphasizes both deep hands‑on expertise and broad end‑to‑end understanding of data management within financial services. While both analyst and modeler profiles are considered, modelers will focus more on data model creation, whereas analysts will be oriented toward data analysis with less modeling.

• Minimum: 5+ years in Data Analysis

Programming

Languages:

• Python (proficient)

Data Formats:

• XML, JSON, Parquet, Avro, Protobuf

Data & Query:

• Strong SQL skills: query building, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization

Business Knowledge:

• Understanding of financial instruments, especially derivative products
• Data modeling experience, particularly for journals and accounting, is a plus

AI & Productivity Tools:

• Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to accelerate data querying, reporting, and analysis
