Description

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant. In this role you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.

You will be a key driver of customer success, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. With a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose migration strategies, and lead implementation while ensuring best practices, performance optimization, and risk management.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience in cloud architecture, designing and implementing cloud solutions
• Hands‑on experience developing scalable, high‑performance data ingestion and engineering pipelines, performing complex data transformations across large datasets using Apache Spark API and SparkSQL to implement data lake architectures
• Strong programming skills in both Python and Scala
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, CI/CD automation, build processes, testing, and operations

• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
• Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing large‑scale Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions in the cloud
