Job Title: Data Architect / Data Modeler

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract to Hire / 6‑month contract with possible extension

Senior Data Modeler and Data Architect with more than 10 years of experience in enterprise data modeling, design of conceptual, logical and physical data models for financial and healthcare domains, and implementation for Snowflake and data warehouses. Roles include developing data models, collaborating with stakeholders, MDM and licensing data modeling.

• Develop and maintain data models for data assets, including conceptual, logical and physical schemas.
• Design enterprise‑grade data models supporting large‑scale Snowflake and data‑warehouse modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects and data engineers to refine model inputs and outputs.
• Model financial and health care service data domains, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Implement a new MDM solution with a golden source approach.
• Analyze and develop complex logical database designs and relational data definitions for corporate and customer information.
• Proactively collaborate with the data analytics function to understand software license, entitlement, and usage data requirements.

• 10+ years of experience in data modeling and architecture.
• Proficient with ERWIN, UML, BPM and OOD methodology.
• Strong background in database modeling for relational and modern cloud platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, data warehouses, and data‑lake environments.
• Knowledge of financial services data domain and healthcare payer data structures.
• Ability to model data for MDM and licensing use cases.
• Experience working in hybrid or remote environments.
