Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) – AWS Professional Services

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks an experienced Delivery Practice Manager to lead a group of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers. The role focuses on driving customer engagements, providing strategic advisory to AWS enterprise customers, and ensuring successful delivery of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a high‑performing team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features.
  • Develop and oversee innovative, forward‑looking IT strategies for customers.
  • Manage practice P&L, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget delivery of customer engagements.
  • Drive business development initiatives and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
  • Experience managing and delivering large‑scale enterprise IT projects.
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP Technical or

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on‑premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP).
  • Experience building and maintaining C‑level client relationships.
  • Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field.
  • AWS certification.
  • Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
