As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within JPMorgan Chase's Enterprise Technology, Employee Platforms team, you will be part of a high-performing group delivering infrastructure and performance excellence and shaping the future at one of the world s largest and most influential companies.
In this role, you will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline and continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge beyond your primary domain.
Responsibilities- Leverage deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to tackle projects of large scope, delivering meaningful impact for users and the organization.
- Lead major initiatives involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies, ensuring seamless execution and delivery at scale.
- Collaborate with other platform teams to design and implement transformative changes that resolve complex issues and modernize technology processes, driving innovation across the organization.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot highly complex problems, ensuring robust and effective outcomes.
- Consider upstream and downstream data, systems, and technical impacts, providing expert guidance on mitigation strategies to safeguard business operations.
- Contribute to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful team environment, helping the team grow stronger together.
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure disciplines with 5+ years of applied experience.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft products, including SharePoint, Exchange, Exchange Online, Outlook, One Drive, and Teams.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage high-stakes incidents with composure and effectiveness.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one infrastructure technology and proficiency in scripting languages, especially Power Shell.
- A drive to expand technical and cross-functional knowledge beyond the core product area.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence partner teams by presenting data-driven recommendations for feature prioritization.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, with ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to support colleagues.
- Ability to lead calls during major incidents, engaging the right experts to drive swift resolution.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles.
- Experience supporting applications on cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting.
