Data Engineering Manager Overview
Seeking a technical leader to oversee enterprise data solutions, lead engineering initiatives, and deliver scalable platforms that support analytics and business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead data engineering projects from design through implementation
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions
- Mentor technical team members and promote development best practices
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
- Improve automation, data quality, and operational efficiency
- Maintain technical documentation, governance, and standards
- 6+ years of data engineering or data platform experience
- 2+ years of technical leadership or project management experience
- Strong experience with data integration, modeling, and automation
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and modern cloud-based data environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading enterprise data initiatives
- Exposure to AI, advanced analytics, or business intelligence solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms and distributed data processing
