Data Coordinator
Employment Type: Freelance
Compensation: $22/hour
Location: Jersey City, NJ (up to 3 days onsite per week)
Schedule: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Assignment Term: Expected through March 2027
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Coordinator to support product data management and retail operations for a timepiece product division. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate, consistent product and inventory information across internal systems and retailer platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with large data sets, and able to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage product setup, maintenance, and updates across retailer portals and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate product details, including descriptions, specifications, images, UPCs, and pricing.
- Support new item creation, product launches, and assortment updates.
- Monitor and update inventory availability and stock information.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, retailer feed issues, and system‑related errors.
- Ensure retailer compliance requirements and submission deadlines are met.
- Maintain product information across vendor systems, product information tools, retailer platforms, and internal databases.
- Generate reports, track retailer requests, and provide data support to sales and account management teams.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Planning teams to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in data coordination, product data management, inventory management, retail operations, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with CRM or data management systems.
- Experience with retailer portals, product information systems, or eCommerce platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams.
