We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with proven experience in the Global Markets domain to support development teams in delivering high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trading systems and business workflows, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work closely with both business and technical teams. This position requires strong analytical thinking, documentation skills, and a proactive approach to managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Domain Expertise- Solid understanding of equity trading and experience with equity swaps.
- Prior experience working with Global Market domain projects is required.
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence for documentation and tracking.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to convey complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable interacting with stakeholders across business, operations, and development teams.
- Capable of managing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements.
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies as needed.
- Track project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
- Provide end-to-end visibility into the delivery of solutions, ensuring business value is realized.
