What You'll Do
Engineer and support Kafka platforms in Unix/Linux environments.
Troubleshoot production incidents and identify root causes.
Analyze broker, topic, partition, replication, and consumer group issues.
Develop automation using Python, Ansible, and scripting tools.
Create operational tooling and automation playbooks.
Consult with application teams on Kafka implementation and usage.
Support deployments and ongoing platform enhancements.
Partner with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
Participate in project-based work focused on platform growth and modernization.
What We're Looking ForDeep understanding of Kafka architecture and internals.
Troubleshooting experience within production Kafka environments.
Python, Java or scripting experience.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
Ability to diagnose unfamiliar platform issues.
