Snowflake Architect
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to design, develop, and optimize modern data platforms and enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake architecture, cloud data platforms, data warehousing, and scalable data solutions. This opportunity is open to candidates at L4/L5 levels with the technical depth and architectural experience to drive data platform initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Snowflake data architectures.
- Define data platform architecture, patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Lead the design of enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data platforms.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, and data pipelines.
- Partner with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, security, governance, and scalability across Snowflake environments.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and architectural approaches for evolving data platform needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot complex data platform and Snowflake-related challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Snowflake architecture and data platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing modern cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
- Experience with Snowflake performance optimization and best practices.
- Strong understanding of data security, governance, and access controls.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to operate at an L4/L5-level with strong technical ownership and architectural decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with data integration and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and modern data engineering technologies.
- Experience with enterprise-scale data migration or modernization initiatives.
