We are seeking a Junior AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System administration, high-availability design, OT integrations, and enterprise analytics and a proven ability to maintain a highly available PI historian environment, deliver integrations and dashboards, and resolve complex issues in a 24x7 setting. This role supports Electric and Gas Control Center operations in a hybrid schedule with three days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and two days remote (Monday, Friday).

Responsibilities
  • Create, modify, and maintain an enterprise PI system with approximately 1.5M PI tags.
  • Implement HA and DR for PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision.
  • Develop PI AF element templates, elements, analytics, notifications, and event frames.
  • Design and deliver PI dashboards using PI Vision and Process Book.
  • Configure and support PI Interfaces including PI API, OPC DA/UA, RDBMS, PI to PI, and PI DNP

  • Implement and support PI Integrator for Business Analytics (PII4BA).
  • Build PI dashboards, BI reports, and applications using PI SDK, AF SDK, PI OLEDB, and Power Shell.
  • Ensure high availability of PI infrastructure supporting enterprise systems and control centers.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply safety practices.
  • Integrate enterprise business systems with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI software.
  • Provide support, maintenance, architecture, and development for PI historian across Distribution Electric, Gas, and Steam Control Centers.
  • Plan and manage technical aspects of assigned projects and resolve application issues.
  • Respond to system alerts 24x7x365 on a scheduled rotation to ensure availability.
  • Design and develop code for Control Center applications as required.
  • Maintain and enhance OSI PI Historian availability, monitor servers, and act on alerts.
  • Review and update procedures and disaster recovery documents for PI, OMS, and SCADA systems.
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management, using Service Now.
  • Communicate status, issues, risks, and resource needs to sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Produce detailed end-to-end solution documentation and perform related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Hands‑on expertise with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System, including PI Asset Framework, PI Data Archive, PI Vision, and PI Interfaces.
  • Experience with PI Asset Analytics, PI Notifications, PI Event Frames, and PI to PI Interface.
  • Skills in PI Integrator for Business Analytics and PI DNP3 Interface.
  • Proficiency with PI SDK, AF SDK, PI OLEDB, and Power Shell automation scripting.
  • Programming skills in C#, .NET, Visual Studio, SSIS, API integrations, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and Power Shell.
  • Knowledge of HA and DR architectures for PI components and enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshooting capability in 24x7 operational environments with strong root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and Service Now for support activities.
  • Preferred:
    Advanced Power BI skills and ability to develop advanced Power Automate flows.
  • Preferred:
    Azure Dev Ops for work management and CI/CD practices.
  • Preferred:
    Familiarity with MS Visio and project management practices.
  • Preferred: .NET Framework 4.6+ and .NET 8+ exposure.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
