AWS Technical / Delivery Lead

We are seeking a dedicated AWS Technical / Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of automation and utility capabilities within our data management systems. This hands-on role involves guiding technical execution, ensuring seamless coordination with various teams, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across solution components. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical contact for the client, providing regular updates and strategic guidance to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the hands-on delivery of automation and utility capabilities on the AWS platform, overseeing all phases from design through implementation.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for the client, delivering frequent status updates, identifying potential risks, and communicating dependencies to both client and internal leadership.
• Provide architectural guidance on selecting appropriate AWS services, designing integration patterns, and establishing data and workflow processes that align with client standards for utilities such as data extraction, uploading, and deletion.
• Supervise and coordinate the interim manual extraction workflows during the development and implementation of automated solutions.
• Lead sprint planning sessions, manage product backlogs, and oversee the delivery cadence to ensure priorities are met within scope and time constraints.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, technical specifications, and operational transition materials for completed utility components.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and technical teams on approval workflows, security considerations, and cross-platform dependencies affecting delivery.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and technically coherent solution components produced by AWS automation engineers and associated teams.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical delivery of cloud-based automation solutions, particularly on the AWS platform
• Strong understanding of AWS services, architecture design, and integration strategies
• Ability to provide technical guidance and enforce standards for data workflows and utility automation
• Experience managing project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, and progress reporting
• Skilled in creating technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational handoff deliverables
• Excellent collaboration skills to coordinate with legal, compliance, and technical teams on security and approval processes
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within enterprise data management or utility automation environments
• Familiarity with structured enterprise problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, or similar frameworks)
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple technical teams and ensure consistency across deliverables
• Knowledge of security protocols and cross-platform dependencies within cloud solutions
